Andrew Donahue is a dedicated and passionate English teacher with more than a decade of post-education experience in language education and curriculum development. He has worked in schools, language centers, and with private students and specializes in adaptable teaching methods which seek to develop functional English competency. Andrew focuses on curriculum and lesson design which empowers students to reach their individual goals.
As a teacher trainer, Andrew is committed to supporting the next generation of educators and helping veteran educators to expand their skill sets to adapt to a changing educational landscape. His teacher training focuses on helping instructors utilize and adapt methodologies and develop materials that align with their individual strengths while honoring student autonomy. He encourages teachers to create learning environments that are adaptable, goal-driven, and responsive to the unique needs of each student.
Andrew has completed a Bachelor’s of Arts in Linguistics, an Undergraduate TESOL Certificate, and a Master’s of Science in Applied Linguistics with a TESOL Emphasis. He has worked with students of all ages from diverse cultural backgrounds. His approach which prioritises students’ goals and emphasizes functional English competence has seen great success in classroom, small group, and one-on-one environments.
